Whitetail Deer Hunts
All Whitetail hunts are 3 days, 2 nights – (hunts start in morning on first day and end in the afternoon on 3rd day-except on 2 day Youth Hunts )

- All prices except Youth hunt are for single hunter.
- Non-Hunting guests are $500 extra.
- If tracking dogs are hired it will be $500-$650
- Missed shot or wounded Buck will be paid in full.
- “No Kill Fee” on Management Hunts is $850.00, Trophy hunts will be 25% of the fee if no Buck is harvested. Bow hunts are paid in full regardless of kill.
- Additional hunting day is $500 per day.

The Hunter will be required to hunt with a .270 caliber rifle or larger and have a valid Texas Hunting License.

Hunting Policies
All hunts begin in the morning on the first day and end in the afternoon of the third-except on 2 day Youth Hunts. You’ll spend the time in between on the hunt of a lifetime. We can assist with travel from the airport – we are located just an hour from San Antonio International Airport – for a small fee, making it easy to get to Vaughn Ranch from anywhere in the world.
All hunts will require 50% deposit and cash or cashier’s check for final payment, no exceptions. Deposits are non-refundable. Hunt Fees do not include Guide/Staff tips, and your generosity is welcomed. Prices include your meals, beverages, and housekeeping.
Any hunt the draws Blood, Bone or Hair is considered a shot deer, and the Hunter is responsible for the full cost of the hunt. We will give the Hunter the option of calling in Tracking Dogs to locate the Deer at a cost of $450 – $500.
Taxidermy and processing are available at reasonable rates so that you can continue to enjoy the fruits of your trip long after returning home. Whether you want to fill your freezer with food for your family or hang trophy antlers over your fireplace – or both – we can help.
